Lochte claimed he and three other American swimmers were robbed at gunpoint in the early hours of August 14 2016, shortly after the swimming events concluded.
An appellate court in Brazil has dismissed a case, however, ruling that Lochte did not break the law.
He has won every set he's played in this year's tournament and while he did not dominate the semifinal, he was never in much trouble.

Lochte, 32, is the father of a one-month-old boy with fiance Kayla Rae Reid.
