These are not the best of circumstances. He's hoping to reset America's relationship with friend and foe alike, setting the stage for Middle East peace, an end to Islamic terrorism, and worldwide acceptance of a brash new type of American leadership stance. President Obama traveled overseas a lot in his previous year in office, and he was repeatedly, nearly exclusively, asked about the presidential campaign and then-candidate Donald Trump.
Trump is visiting Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican, and it isn't a coincidence.
