India on Monday urged the UN's top court, the International Court of Justice, to stop Pakistan from executing Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav convicted of spying.
India and Pakistan will present their arguments before the International Court of Justice in The Hague on the Kulbhushan Jadhav case on Monday.
Last month in April, Pakistan's Military had given a verdict of death to Jadhav charging with spying and rebellious activities.
India claims that Pakistan breached a long-standing global convention on consular relations by not granting Indian officials access to Kulbhushan Jadhav after his arrest past year.
He further said that India had not presented its evidence in front of the International Court of Justice regarding the case of Kulbhushan Jhadav.
On May 8, India moved the ICJ against the death penalty, alleging violation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.

Representing India, lead attorney Harish Salve said, "The execution of the death sentence can not be done while this court is hearing the appeal".
Earlier, Deepak Mittal, Joint Secretary, of the Pakistan, Afghanistan, India Desk at the Ministry of External Affairs, told the court in his opening remarks that there was a fear that Jadhav may be executed soon even before the decision of the United Nations court.
He further said that Indian lawyer Harish Salve had categorically quoted various instances as to how Pakistan has violated human rights, how it has deliberately committed the breach of the Vienna Convention and how it is overlooking the worldwide laws.
"India invoked the jurisdiction of this court improperly", he said.
Mittal also claimed that Pakistan had failed to respond to all Indian demands for information about the case, snubbing requests for documents including the charge sheet.
Counsel for India and senior advocate Harish Salve represented the Republic of India before ICJ in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

Legal teams from both countries arrived at the Hague ahead of the hearing, the Hindu reported. Unfortunately, India has seen it fit to appeal to the ICJ for political theatre.

DG South Asia in Foreign Office Dr Faisal said Jadhav was arrested by Pakistani forces during an operation in Balochistan and he had confessed to killing of dozens of Pakistanis. India has taken measures to ensure appropriate legal measures for Jadhav.
India has denied however he was a spy, and last week lodged a rare protest at the ICJ accusing Pakistan of "egregious violations of the Vienna convention".
