Emirates Airline flight: The Emirates airline flight coming from Thiruvananthapuram crash landed at Dubai International Airport on 3rd August 2016.
Emirates said the flight EK521 carried 282 passengers and 18 crew members. All passengers and crew were evacuated safely but an Emirati fire-fighter died while putting out the blaze.
Dubai airport said Thursday the operations are "far from back to normal" as dozens of flights have been cancelled or delayed after Wednesday's plane crash-landing.
There are reports that the landing gear for the plane, which had flown from Trivandrum International Airport in India, may not have come down fully prior to touching down.

All flights on the Hyderabad-Dubai sector stand cancelled on Thursday due to non-availability of runway at Dubai International Airport.
